Welcome to Hillsborough Notary Service! We are a full-service mobile notary providing convenient and professional notarization services at your location. By using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before scheduling an appointment.

  1. Services Provided:

We offer mobile notary services, including but not limited to:

  • Taking acknowledgments and proofs.
  • Administering oaths and affirmations.
  • Witnessing or attesting signatures.
  • Certifying copies.
  • Performing other notarial acts as authorized by law in the State of Florida.

I am a Florida Notary Public, not an attorney. The services I provide are limited to notarization and related duties as defined by Florida law. I am prohibited from giving legal advice or counsel. This includes explaining legal documents, recommending specific forms, or offering opinions on legal matters. If you require legal advice or assistance, please consult with a licensed attorney in Florida.

  1. Appointment Scheduling and Fees:
  • Appointments can be scheduled via phone or using the calendar on our website.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the type of notarization needed, the number of documents, the number of signers, and the location of the appointment.
  • Our fees are based on the number of notarizations required and a flat travel fee.
  • Payment is due at the time of service, and can be made via cash, check or major credit card.
  • Cancellations must be made before a notary is dispatched to your location to avoid a cancellation fee.
  1. Identification Requirements:

All signers must present valid, government-issued photo identification at the time of notarization. Acceptable forms of identification include a valid driver’s license, passport or state-issued ID card. The identification must be current and unexpired.

  1. Document Requirements:
  • Documents must be complete and legible. We are not responsible for verifying the accuracy or legality of the documents.
  • Signers must be competent and understand the document they are signing. We cannot notarize a signature if the signer appears to be under duress, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to understand the nature of the document.
  • We reserve the right to refuse to notarize any document that appears to be incomplete, fraudulent, or illegal.
  1. Travel and Location:
  • We will travel to your requested location within Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco or Polk counties.
  • You are responsible for providing a safe and suitable environment for the notarization to take place.
  • We reserve the right to refuse to travel to locations that are deemed unsafe or inaccessible.
  1. Limitation of Liability:
  • We are not liable for any errors or omissions in the notarization process, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
  • Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific notarization service.
  • We are not liable for the contents of the documents being notarized.
  1. Governing Law:

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
